CONTEXT
Why did we need this?
1. Contractors work on large industrial sites – oil & gas, manufacturing, construction, where they take on unfamiliar, high-risk tasks every single day.
2. A contractor may not know every hazard present on a site, or the control measures for each one, which puts their life at risk.
3. Safety information exists, but it's buried in long documents, hard to search, and rarely on hand when a contractor actually needs it.
PROBLEM
How might we help contractors quickly identify hazards on their job site, and learn how to keep themselves and their crew safe?
FINAL SOLUTION
We shipped an AI tool: Hazard Assistant
The solution, ‘Hazard Assistant’ within the 'Empower' mobile app for contractors enables them to:

Upload
a photo of the job site to surface the hazards present and the controls for each
02.
Review
the AI-generated job description, and edit it before the full analysis runs.
03.
Get
a complete hazard analysis with every hazard identified, categorized, and paired with controls.
04.
Share
the analysis with the crew as a PDF.
05.
Revisit
any previously generated analysis from the history.
